  The local Rusty rooster in Gonzales is with in walking distance of the high school, and i can safely say that this is a miracle. Their chicken is of great quality, as is their fries and biscuits, and do to it's surprisingly quality and closeness to the high school compared to it's only other competition, Golden Chick, The place gets packed during lunch hour with teens. It's a most go if you crave chicken, but just take the drive through on school days or just be early.
